School Field Trips
Student Matinees
The day before a production’s premiere, our doors are open for students to see the final dress rehearsal in the beautiful Ellie Caulkins Opera House. For the discounted price of $7 student groups are invited to experience ballet first hand, complete with full costumes, make-up, sets, lighting and sound. Then the curtain opens and the magic begins.
To reserve your school's spot for either production, please complete the Reservation Form and return it either by fax (303-861-7174) or email (anne.oconnor@coloradoballet.org). For more information, please contact Anne O'Connor at anne.oconnor@coloradoballet.

Day of Dance
Day of Dance is a field trip available to students at all grade levels. Bring up to 150 students to Colorado Ballet's studios for a rotation of introductory classes in a variety of dance styles and tour Colorado Ballet's facilities, including the costume shop. Classes may include: creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, African, salsa, bollywood, hip hop, and modern dance. The cost is $7 per student. Balance and Motion
Balance and Motion is a field trip recommended for kindergarten through 5th grades. Bring up to 150 students to Colorado Ballet's dance studios. Students will explore balancing with partners and props while developing their motor skills through fun movement activities. Contact Marlene Strang at Marlene.Strang@ColoradoBallet.org for details.
