Originally from Mexico, MO, Lillian began her classical ballet training at the age of four at the Audrain Ballet Academy under Maria Parrot. Lillian has studied predominantly classical ballet, contemporary ballet and modern dance. In high school, she was a ballet instructor for Presser Performing Arts Center and Missouri Contemporary Ballet School. In 2009, she accepted a trainee position with The Missouri Contemporary Ballet Company. She has continued to teach contemporary ballet, jazz, modern dance and dancer specific strengthening classes to a variety of levels. Lillian has attended various dance programs at places.including Ballet Magnificat, The Joffrey Ballet School NYC, Ad Deum Dance Company, and The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She has also performed works by choreographers such as Randall Flinn, Christian Burns, Isadora Duncan, Robert Moses, and Ohad Naharin. Lillian has had the pleasure of working closely with numerous teachers and choreographers such as Summer Lee Rhatigan, Alex Ketley, Chiaru Shibata, Ryan Corriston, and Karen Castleman. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from Belhaven University in 2013 and in 2014, accepted a scholarship position at Visceral Dance Center in Chicago under the direction of Nick Pupillo. Lillian is extremely happy to be teaching and pursuing her passion for dance in Colorado and is excited to be working with the Colorado Ballet Academy.
