Malerie Bycura

Malerie grew up in Tempe, AZ where she trained with Mary Moe Adams at Adam’s Ballet Academy for 17 years. She passed her Primary through Advanced I R.A.D. examinations and became a Royal Academy of Dance Majors Member. At age 18, she moved to New York City and in 2008, graduated from Wagner College with a B.A. in Musical Theater Performance and a minor in dance. During her undergraduate work she interned at Dance Magazine in Manhattan and Dance/USA in Washington D.C. In 2010 Malerie received her M.A. from New York University in Teaching Dance in Higher Education and The Professions with a concentration in ABT Pedagogy. She is a certified teacher of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum for level Primary-7. She is thrilled and honored to be at Colorado Ballet and sharing her lifelong passion for ballet with the city of Denver!
