- A well-made classical beaded tutu is built to last up to 30 years, and can cost up to $4,000. (Colorado Ballet makes approximately five new tutus each year.)
- Colorado Ballet often rents scenery and costumes from other ballet companies for its productions. This costs the Company between $30,000 - $100,000 and includes insurance, shipping, cleaning and design royalties.
