Colorado Ballet's Home - Capital Campaign

Support Colorado Ballet's Home

How you can still help support our new home at the Armstrong Center for Dance:

In January 2013, Colorado purchased a building located at 11th and Santa Fe (1075 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204). We renovated the 100-year-old building and moved in during August 2014.  The renovated 30,000 square foot building, named the Armstrong Center for Dance, gives the professional Company and the Academy room to grow.  We still need your support!  Click here to make a donation.

All donations to the capital campaign will qualify for the 25% Enterprise Zone tax credit. Additionally, all donations over $5,000 will appear on a donor recognition wall.  Click here to learn more about the Enterprise Zone tax credit.

Sponsor a Seat in the Black Box Theater

$2,500 per seat

The Armstrong Center for Dance features a Black Box Theater with approximately 150 telescoping seats to host small in-house performances. We anticipate many performances throughout the year from community arts groups, special events, our Academy showcases, our company dancers, patron shows etc.  An engraved name plaque will be riveted to the seat top, back or armrest, depending on the style of seat we install.  Sponsor a seat and display your name, family’s name, or sponsor a seat in honor or memory of someone.  Demonstrate your ongoing support of Colorado Ballet by sponsoring a seat. About the Building

The 30,000 square foot Armstrong Center for Dance has eight, state-of-the-art professional dance studios and amenities for the professional Company including locker rooms and showers as well as a physical therapy room.  Colorado Ballet's home also has its own Black Box Theater performance space featuring 135 seats for a performance and up to 177 seats for a lecture-style event.  The Black Box Theater hosts the Company's popular Attitude on Santa Fe performances, featuring new works choreographed and performed by the dancers, and the Academy's Sunday Salonswhich include new works and other ballets performed by our talented students.

The Armstrong Center for Dance has safer, more convenient student drop-off and offers free parking in the neighborhood along Santa Fe Drive and Kalamath Street.  Our home also features an Academy parent and student lounge and a retail dance boutique.

Anchoring the north end of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, the Armstrong Center for Dance is located in a thriving cultural neighborhood close to Downtown Denver.  We frequently display paintings and photography by local artists on our walls.

Colorado Ballet’s home encourages world-class dance to flourish in Colorado and enhances the training of the next generation of dancers.
