Special Giving Opportunities

Special giving opportunities provide a way to support a specific aspect of the company, expand your giving in a meaningful way, or to honor a loved one or celebrate a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday.

Dancer's Underwriting Circle

Jesse Marks, Allie Coppeak, Sandy Elliott and Luis Valdes

Become a member of this elite program by underwriting a Colorado Ballet Principal or Soloist Dancer. Get to know the "ins and outs" of a dancer’s life; how they go about their daily routines and what makes them "tick."  Underwriting for Divertissements (small groups) performing in The Nutcracker is also available.  For more information please contact Allie Coppeak, Senior Major Gifts Officer, 970 331-6015 or acoppeak@gmail.com. Customized benefits are included in this program.

Education and Outreach

Each year, Colorado Ballet makes more than 60,000 community contacts and bringing dance instruction and opportunities to attend dance performances to underserved communities.  Donations help provide these opportunities:

  • $100 brings a free dance class to a head start preschool
  • $250 brings a class of 30 students to see a ballet at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House
  • $500 provides of an in-school assembly performance
  • $1,000 buys ballet shoes and dancewear for 30 children in after-school dance programs
  • $2,500 provides summer camp for Warren Village Preschool
  • $10,000 brings the Dance Renaissance after-school program to one school

Colorado Ballet Academy

Academy - IBI

Colorado Ballet Academy provides training to students age 3 through adult, beginner through professional.

  • $1,000 maintains a dance studio for one year
  • $2,750 provides housing for one student attending the Summer Intensive Program
  • $5,000 allows Colorado Ballet to rent performance space for the Academy Showcase
  • $10,000 provides live piano accompaniment for upper level ballet students for a semester
