Colorado Ballet's professional Company performs the fall and spring productions as well as The Nutcracker at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. The Company performs its final show of the season at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver.
The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is a world-class acoustical hall designed in the lyric style, encompasses four levels: the balcony, loge, mezzanine and orchestra. This magnificent space is humidified and provides state-of-the-art technical support as well as acoustical excellence and clean sight lines. The Ellie is one of only three opera houses in the United States, one of nine world-wide, with seatback titling at every seat in the house.

The Ellie is located in the The Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC), the largest performing arts complex under one roof, and the second-largest center of its kind in terms of number of venues and seating capacity. The DPAC is located at at 14th and Curtis Streets.
The June Swaner Gates Concert Hall in the Newman Center for the Performing Arts is a 977-seat concert/grand opera hall with double-lift orchestra pit, 100-foot scenery fly gallery, views of the stage from every seat and exceptional acoustics with full adjustability. The Newman Center for the Performing Arts is located at the corner of East Iliff Avenue & South University Boulevard, and is approximately 1 mile south of the University Boulevard exit off Interstate 25 (I-25). The Newman Center for the Performing Arts is fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs and to those with other special needs.
