As a former principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre in New York, Boggs boasts an illustrious dance career spanning 21 years.  He has worked with and studied under some of ballet's greatest, including Mikhail Baryshnikov, Twyla Tharp, Sir Kenneth MacMillan and Paul Taylor.

Colorado Ballet's 2015-2016 season will open with the romanic La Sylphide in October 2015 and close with a contemporary repertory Ballet Director's Choice in March 2016.  The season will also include the 55th annual production of The Nutcracker and Alice (in Wonderland).  In addition, Colorado Ballet will perform twice at the Vail International Dance Festival in August 2015, as well as at the Arvada Center Outdoor Amphitheater in August 2015 and the Lone Tree Arts Center in April 2016.

Colorado Ballet consists of 30 professional dancers with a diverse background. The dancers come from all over the world, including Japan, Russia, Cuba, Canada, France, Ireland and the United States. Additionally, the Company has between 15 and 20 members of the Studio Company, which provides young dancers with training and performance opportunities as a start into a professional career in ballet.

Each season, the Company performs a varied season of classical and contemporary ballets in Denver. In 2009, Colorado Ballet received the Colorado Masterpieces program to tour Colorado's Front Range. The program was funded by the Colorado Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts through their American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius initiative.

In August 2014, Colorado Ballet moved into its new home The Armstrong Center for Dance in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe near Downtown Denver.
