Loretta Kelce is a Denver Colorado native with extensive experience in the Colorado dance community. Ms. Loretta’s early ballet training was with Denver Civic Ballet, studying under master instructors from American Ballet Theatre, Enrique Martinez and John Kriza. Ms. Loretta received her BA in Liberal Arts Childhood Psychology with a Minor Dance and her MA in Childhood Education from the University of California Santa Barbara.
Throughout the years, Loretta was heavily involved with Colorado Ballet, serving as President of Colorado Ballet Auxiliary, serving on the Board of Trustees and chairing several Fundraisers for the Ballet. In 1998 Loretta opened her studio, “Petit Ballet School”. A space dedicated solely to the very young dancer. For many years, Ms. Loretta and eventually her daughter, Natalie taught ballet to children ages 3-10. Petit Ballet School won several awards, including the prestigious Red Wagon Award. Miss Loretta is delighted to be teaching children again with a warm, loving and supportive approach.
