Bridget Mcshain Matuschek as a Teaching Artist for the Education and Community Engagement Department at Colorado Ballet is loving her work! This stands out as an
all-time favorite position for her.

Bridget learned the Vaganova teaching method of ballet under Margarita De Saa and John White of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, then became a professional ballerina with the Berlin Opera Ballet and continued her career with Colorado Ballet.

After hanging up her pointe shoes, she created, owned, and operated the Denver Academy of Ballet, which she ran for ten years. After living and working in Shanghai, China with her two beautiful girls, she has settled again in Colorado to come full circle and again, is loving her work with the Education and Community Engagement Department at Colorado Ballet.
