Cassie Wilson

Cassie grew up in Texas taking advantage of every dance opportunity that came her way. In 2013, she received Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of North Texas in both dance and English literature with a teacher’s certification in dance education. Cassie has had formal training in a variety of dance techniques and styles including modern, ballet, improvisation, jazz, and hip hop. While at North Texas, Cassie participated and performed in numerous American College Dance Festival Association conferences and also performed works by guest artists, faculty, and students throughout her time in the dance department.

Professionally, she has performed with Big Rig Dance Collective, a contemporary dance company out of Denton, TX and has also participated in many informal performances throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In addition to having a passion for dance, Cassie is also an avid mountain explorer and traveler. She brings her various travel experiences into studios and classrooms in order to relate to a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Before coming to Denver, she taught dance at a high school in Dallas, TX and is extremely excited to bring dance to public schools in Denver.
