Julie Anderson
ACADEMY OPERATIONS MANAGER/TEACHING ARTIST
Julie Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance from the University of Idaho and is a certified Evans Method instructor. She has also completed coursework in Brain-Compatible Dance Education developed by Anne Green Gilbert, as well as Healthy Dance Certification training through Safe in Dance International.
Julie has worked in dance education as a teacher, administrator, choreographer and owner of Colorado Dance Arts in Lakewood, Colorado. She is a teaching artist for Colorado Ballet’s Education and Community Engagement programs and a lead instructor for “Be Beautiful, Be Yourself,” a ballet program designed for children who experience Down syndrome.
In her role as Operations Manager for Colorado Ballet Academy, she enjoys collaborating with a talented and dedicated team, supporting Academy students and families, and helping expand the scope and impact of Colorado Ballet Academy programs.
