Julie Anderson


Julie is a certified instructor of Bill Evans Method and holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance from the University of Idaho, under the direction of Greg Halloran. Julie has taught ballet, jazz, modern and creative dance for almost two decades in a number of settings, including university classes, workshops, outreach programs and dance academies. She was hired by Colorado Ballet’s Education & Outreach department in 2009 and has worked in many public school settings as well as in collaboration with Global Down Syndrome Foundation, teaching ballet and creative dance to children who have Down syndrome.  Julie has performed with Bill Evans Dance, Louder Than Words Dance Theatre, Boulder International Fringe Festival and many others. In 2011, Julie directed and produced "Love, Fate, Move," a collaborative dance performance in Colorado. Julie choreographs for several student companies and embraces each opportunity to teach, create and help students grow their passion for art and dance.
