Justin began dancing at the age of 6 with Ballet Center of Houston. In 2020, Pidgeon attended The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. with an artistic scholarship, graduating in 2022. There, he was offered a position with Boston Ballet’s second company by the artistic director Mikko Nissinen.
During his two seasons, Justin performed with the company in Rudolf Nureyev’s “Don Quixote,” Mikko Nissinen’s “Sleeping Beauty,” Sir Frederick Ashton’s “Cinderella,” and the debut of Nissinen’s re-visioned “Raymonda.” In Boston Ballet II’s “Rising Stars” and “Next Generation” performances, he had the opportunity of performing various repertoire from “Giselle” pas de deux to Christopher Wheeldon’s “This Bitter Earth.”
Later, in 2024 Justin was hired as an apprentice with Colorado Ballet.
