Hometown: Princeton Junction, New Jersey
Leopold began dancing at the age of 8 at Princeton Dance and Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2017, he was accepted into the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York City, where he had the opportunity to train under Edward Ellison, Bat Udval, Maina Gielgud, Juan Rodriguez, and Cody Berkeley.
Upon graduating from Ellison Ballet, Leopold accepted an offer to join Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company. During his two seasons in Studio Company, Leopold had the chance to perform in various productions including Derek Deane’s Romeo and Juliet, George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations, and Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camellias.
In 2023, Leopold was promoted into the main company as an Apprentice.
