Corps de Ballet • Joined Colorado Ballet in 2021

Hometown: Princeton Junction, New Jersey

Leopold began dancing at the age of 8 at Princeton Dance and Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2017, he was accepted into the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York City, where he had the opportunity to train under Edward Ellison, Bat Udval, Maina Gielgud, Juan Rodriguez, and Cody Berkeley. 

Upon graduating from Ellison Ballet in 2021, Leopold accepted an offer to join Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company, and was promoted into the main company as an apprentice in 2023. During his time with Colorado Ballet, Leopold has performed various roles in both the company’s classical repertoire, including Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Romeo and Juliet, and multiple contemporary and neo-classical works, such as Val Caniparoli’s Jekyll and Hyde, Kenneth Tindell’s Casanova, and George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations. 

Leopold was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2025.
