Hometown: Dallas, Texas
Lily fell in love with dancing early but did not start her formal ballet training until the age of 10 when she began studying with Jaqueline Porter at The Dallas Conservatory. At age 17, she attended the Pre-Professional program at the Boston Ballet School led by Kathleen Mitchell and Margaret Tracey. From there, Lily received a scholarship to study ballet under Michael Vernon, Sarah Wroth, Carla Körbes, Kyra Nichols, and Sasha Janes at the Jacob’s School of Music at Indiana University where she had featured roles in Dark Elegies, Antique Epigraphs, and Faust. Lily finished her degree in three years and, upon graduating, joined the Studio Company of Colorado Ballet in 2020. She was promoted to Apprentice for the 23/24 season and later promoted to Corps de Ballet for the 24/25 season.
Since joining Colorado Ballet, Lily has had the opportunity to perform various ballets, including George Balanchine’s Serenade, Theme and Variations, and Rubies, as well as Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camelias and Jekyll and Hyde.
