Lily Hagan began her dance training in Wyckoff, New Jersey with Dance Theater of New Jersey. In 2016, she specifically trained in the Vaganova method under Erin Forrest with Forrest Academy of Ballet New York. While attending multiple summer intensives including American Ballet Theatre, Ellison Ballet, Kirov Ballet, and Gelsey Kirkland Classical Ballet, she had the excellent opportunity to travel to St. Petersburg, Russia and train under former Kirov Ballet Artistic Director, Oleg Vinogradov for the International Youth Ballet Festival. To further her training, Lily was accepted under full scholarship to train with Evgenia Singur and Edward Ellison at Ellison Ballet. For the 23/24 season, Lily was offered a position in the Colorado Ballet Studio Company. She was then promoted to Apprentice for the 24/25 season and further promoted to Corps de Ballet for the 26/27 season.
Since joining Colorado Ballet, Lily has performed in numerous classical and neoclassical works such as Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Rubies, Michael Pink’s Dracula, Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia's friends in Coppélia, Rite of Spring, Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), Kenneth Tindall’s Casanova, and Val Caniparoli’s Jekyll and Hyde.
