Rheana Montesantos, originally from Hinsdale, Illinois, received her training at Salt Creek Ballet under the direction of Zhanna Dubrovskaya and Sergey Kozadayev. In 2018, she was awarded first place at the Youth America Grand Prix - Chicago and went on to compete as a finalist in the New York City Finals.
Rheana continued her training at Butler University’s Jordan College of the Arts, where she studied on a full merit scholarship as a Dance Performance major. During her time there, she had the opportunity to work with Patrick DeBana on his premier work Falling Sky, and with Deborah Wingert on George Balanchine’s Serenade, performing the role of “Dark Angel.” She also pursued training in classical ballet, jazz, and choreographic teaching analysis, earning certification in all three disciplines.
Rheana graduated in May 2023 with a BFA in Dance Performance. She joined Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company in August 2023 and is excited to begin her first season as an apprentice with the Colorado Ballet in 2025-2026.
