krista zozulia

TEACHING ARTIST

Originally from Chicago, Krista Zozulia holds a Master of Arts in Social & Cultural Foundations in Education from DePaul University and a Bachelors in Contemporary Dance and Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington. She has trained professionally in Israel at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Hasadna workshop, as well as in Chicago on scholarships with Visceral Dance and The Cambrians. Before moving to Denver, Krista was dancing with urban jazz company Joel Hall Dancers and building the collaborative group Concept Dances with TImothy Tsang in Chicago. Krista spent 2022 performing with Wonderbound, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, and Control Group Productions. She currently teaches dance ages 2 to adult at Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Academy and Elite Dance Academy. Prior, she has served as Dance Director for the City of Westminster where she rebuilt programming, growing enrollment from 30 to over 200 students. Krista is also an adjunct lecturer at DePaul University. Krista loves to inspire students to build unique pathways in their lives, using dance as a platform for possibility.
