2026 summer choreographic workshop performance

Experience an unforgettable evening of emerging artistry at Colorado Ballet Academy’s 2026 Choreographic Workshop performance in Aspen. Set against a stunning mountain backdrop, this immersive program brings together 40 dedicated students for a professional-style creative residency, culminating in a dynamic public performance on July 21 at 4 p.m. at the District Theatre.

Following intensive summer training, dancers premiere original works in both classical and contemporary styles, showcasing the depth and versatility of the next generation of artists. Guided by acclaimed choreographers Maria A. Konrad, Whitney Popp, and Robert Sher-Machherndl, the program offers audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process and the future of dance.

Fall Feature showcases Colorado Ballet Academy's Advanced Division students performing excerpts from Academy's Spring Production, as well as Pre-Professional Division students performing repertoire staged by Colorado Ballet Artistic Leaders.
