Audition Information

Colorado Ballet will be holding auditions in New York, NY and Denver, CO for our 2024-2025 season. Audition in Denver will be held in conjunction with Wonderbound. Dates and times are as follows:

Colorado Ballet and Wonderbound:
*Audition for both company & studio company
Repertoire/Movement (Wonderbound) 2:45-4:45

There is no pre-registration requirement. Please bring cash or check for the audition fee. Checks payable to “Colorado Ballet”. Current AGMA members may present their card at registration and the audition fee will be waived.

Dress:
Ladies- Pink tights, light colored leotard, flat and pointe shoes*
Men- Tights and tight fitting T-shirt
Repertoire/Movement- Tights and tight fitting clothing, flat shoes
*Applicants applying for Wonderbound only, need not wear pointe shoes during the audition.

Materials: Applicants should bring a physical copy of their resume or cv, a headshot, and a full body dance photo (preferably in first arabesque or tendu a la second).

Colorado Ballet strongly encourages all auditioners to get vaccinated to protect themselves, their colleagues, and the community. While vaccinations are not mandatory, they are highly recommended as a means of preventing COVID-19 infections and reducing the risk of severe illness.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION AUDITION INFORMATION (Colorado Ballet Only)

If you are unable to attend our audition please feel free to email your audition materials to us. You may be required to travel to Denver to audition in person after review. Please follow these instructions:

1. Cover Letter- Which states your interest in the Company or the Studio Company

2. Resume or curriculum vitae- Please detail personal statistics including: Birth date, height, citizenship, current visa status, email address, phone, and an address you can be reached at February-July 2024.

3. High quality video or DVD (REQUIRED)-Featuring classical and contemporary solo performance or rehearsal.

4. High quality dance photograph(s)- You may send any photos you would like but first arabesque/tendu a la second and headshots are preferred.

Due to the high volume of inquiries, we are unable to respond to all submissions. The Company Manager will be in contact with you should more information be needed. Company classes are by invitation only.
