Colorado Ballet Education & Community Engagement offers a variety of programs designed to engage students and communities through dance, creativity, and performance experiences. With offerings for people of all ages and backgrounds, engage in dance and its many social, physical, and other benefits.

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

Colorado Ballet’s afterschool program provides dance classes that focus on creative movement and ballet. These classes take place in the school and last 10 - 12 weeks each semester.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are typically single, one-time offerings customizable to the age and population, genre of dance, lesson emphasis, or desired curricular outcome. 

DAYTIME DANCE RESIDENCY

Let’s work together to design a residency that fits your school community.

OLDER ADULTS

Offering a range of opportunities for older adults, including both “Try Dance” where participants can actively move and engage, and “Watch Dance” to experience performances firsthand.

ADAPTED: BBBY DANCE PROGRAM

This program provides 30 weeks of dance classes to 30 students ages 5-16 with Down syndrome.

VIRTUAL: EVERY BODY M.O.V.E.

A program that helps improve creativity, social and emotional skill development,
and physical health.

PARTNERSHIPS 

We engage diverse populations from children in Title I schools to families and community organizationsoffering workshops, residencies, creative movement classes, and performance opportunities.
