Colorado Ballet’s Education & Community Engagement offers a range of opportunities for older adults, including both “Try Dance” where participants can actively move and engage, and “Watch Dance” to experience performances firsthand. Our Teaching Artists are skilled in working with adults of diverse abilities, interests, and experience levels, ensuring accessible, engaging, and meaningful movement experiences. Workshops are single, one-time dance experiences that can be customized by age group, population, dance genre, lesson focus, or curricular goals.
Residencies offer longer-term engagement and build on the workshop model through sustained programming in settings such as post-acute care facilities, community centers, and more. Live music is available as an option for residency programs.
