Ballet MasterWorks Special Event for Older Adults - Thursday, April 10th, 2025 at 12:30pm
Price: $20/seat

  • - The day before a production’s premiere, our doors are now open for Older Adults to join students across the Denver metro area to see the final dress rehearsal in the beautiful Ellie Caulkins Opera House. For a heavily discounted price, Older Adult groups are invited to experience ballet first hand, complete with full costumes, make-up, sets, lighting and sound. Then the curtain opens and the magic begins!

  • - We are excited to invite you to our upcoming MasterWorks Special Event where we aim to provide accessible options for viewing Colorado Ballet’s annual repertory production of powerhouse masterpieces that put artistic excellence and innovation on full display—George Balanchine’s Serenade (32min), Ji?í Kylián’s Petite Mort (20min), and Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room (40min).

  • - This will be the final dress rehearsal and will include notes from the choreographer after each piece, followed by an intermission before the next act begins. We invite you to stay for all three acts if you like or you may leave after any act of your choice.

  • - Please note this special event will include students from various schools and organizations across the Denver Metro area. We are expanding our audiences for this particular production to include Older Adults as well as students.
