2025 Children’s Division Summer Camps, Ages 3-8 

Dancers explore their imagination in Colorado Ballet Academy’s Summer Camps! Carefully created to ensure students are engaged, challenged and supported, our Summer Camps allow your child to discover their creativity through dance, music and creative story telling. 

Students start their day with ballet or tumbling technique, learn or create their own choreography and end class with a craft to take home commemorating their themed summer camp adventure. A 15-minute break is placed in the schedule to allow students time for water and snacks.

Ages 3 – 4: Tuition $395 
Ages 5 – 8: Tuition $495 
Registration Fee: $20 

*Students need to be the corresponding age at the time of the camp. 

Refund Policy  
-Cancellation with a full refund is allowed at any time within the first 24 hours of purchase-like an airline ticket buying policy.   
-Cancellation with a full refund or credit to account is allowed up to 10 days before the first day of the workshop or camp.  
-5 days before the start of the camp, no refunds are permitted for cancellations, but account credit is possible on an individual basis.   
-Cancellation 5 days after the start of camp, no refund or credit is permitted unless a signed doctor's note is provided showing illness or injury.

dress code

Dress Code
Students shall have the right to dress in accordance with their gender identity, within the dress code requirements stated by CBA. Ballet attire can be worn, or students can dress in comfortable clothing that allows for free movement for the class. 

Suggested ballet attire:  
Option 1: Pastel Leotard, Pink or Skin Tone Tights, Canvas Ballet Shoes to match tone of chosen tights. Short pastel skirt optional. Hair should be neatly pulled back and away from face. 
Option 2: Form fitting White T-Shirt, Black spandex bike shorts or form fitting black sweatpants, white socks and white canvas ballet shoes.

Water/Snacks 
Students must bring their own water bottle and two small snacks or lunch depending on the camp.

BALLET STORY BOOK CAMP

Week 1

June 2 – 6, 2025
Ages 3-4
 
9:00-11:30am 
Monday - Friday
 

Welcome to a magical week where little dancers step inside their own ballet story. Each day, campers will explore a different fairytale or adventure, using ballet, creative movement, and storytelling to bring their own characters to life. 

Through gentle ballet lessons, fun games, and imaginative play, dancers will help build their own story—choosing heroes, magical lands, and exciting adventures. They’ll also create simple props and costumes to bring their ballet storybook to life. 

The week concludes with a mini performance, where families can watch their little ones dance through the pages of their own fairytale creation!

9:15am – 9:45am → Ballet Class & Storytelling 
9:45am – 10:00am → Snack and Bathroom Break 
10:00am – 10:30am → Dance Games and Storytime Adventure

11:15am – 11:30am → Cool Down & Reflection 

Final Day Performance: On the last day, families are invited to watch the dancers perform their original ballet in our Black Box Theater using their choreography, props, and storytelling skills.

magical ballet quest camp

Week 2

June 9 - 13, 2025
Ages 3-4 
9:00am – 11:30am 
Monday - Friday 

In this magical adventure camp, young dancers will journey through enchanted realms, meeting fairies, animals, and mystical creatures along the way. They’ll use ballet movements to move through different magical lands, discover treasures, and build their own ballet story. 

Each day, dancers will explore a new mystical land, such as a fairy forest, pirate island, or animal kingdom, using ballet to help them solve puzzles, discover hidden treasures, and move like their favorite magical creatures. Along the way, they will also create props and costumes, making crowns, wands, and animal masks to help bring their adventure to life! 

The camp ends with a mini performance, where dancers showcase their creativity and magical ballet adventure for their families.

Week 2

June 9 - 13, 2025
Ages 5-8

Monday - Friday 

Young dancers become choreographers, designers, and storytellers as they embark on the creative journey of crafting their very own ballet! Over the course of the program, they will immerse themselves in every aspect of the production process. Each day, they will develop intricate characters, design and create costumes and props, and learn choreography, all while experimenting with movement and expression to bring their unique story to life. By the final performance, they will showcase their hard work, creativity, and teamwork, stepping into the roles of both performer and creator, leaving a lasting impression of their artistic vision.

2025 Summer Ballet Classes, Ages 3 - 9  

Keep those toes tapping during the summer months! During these four-week sessions, students will attend class once per week. Current students will continue to master those previously acquired skills and new students will get a glimpse of what their future could hold at CBA!

Summer Ballet ages 3-4

Our youngest aspiring dancers will be introduced to the concepts of body and spatial awareness as well as the development of imagination through movement and musicality. Students begin identifying forms of movement through dance games, songs, music, and rhythmical patterns.

One 45 Minute Class Per Week 
Registration Fee: $10  
Tuition per Session: $85 
Bundle Session 1 and 2 and only pay one registration fee.

Summer Ballet Ages 5-6 

Students are introduced to beginning concepts of ballet technique including turn out, coordinating upper body and lower body movements, spatial awareness and class etiquette. Students continue to use their imagination to foster artistry as they focus on musicality and increase their vocabulary.

Summer Ballet Ages 7-9  

Students will focus on developing important skills and body awareness including proper posture and body alignment, coordination and strength, musicality, imaginative artistry and French terminology.
