Colorado ballet academy
Summer Camps ages 3-7

Dancers explore their imagination in Colorado Ballet Academy’s Summer Camps! Carefully created to ensure students are engaged, challenged and supported, our Summer Camps allow your child to discover their creativity through dance, music and creative story telling.

Students start their day with ballet or tumbling technique, learn or create their own choreography and end class with a craft to take home commemorating their themed summer camp adventure. A 15-minute break is placed in the schedule to allow students time for water and snacks.

Refund Policy
Cancelation with a full refund is allowed at any time within the first 24 hours.
Cancelation with a full refund or credit to account is allowed up to 10 days before the first day of the workshop or camp.
5 days before the start of the workshop or camp, no refunds but possible credit to account on individual basis.
After 5 days no credit unless a signed doctor's note provided showing illness or injury.

MERMAIDS AND PIRATES

June 3-June 7, 2024

Ahoy! Tiny dancers embark on a nautical journey, transforming into mermaids and pirates as they hunt for treasure and explore the world under the sea. Students create their own movement and crafts based on their undersea discoveries.

Ages 3-4 | 9:30am-11:00am

Ages 5-7 | 10:00am-12:00pm

Water/Snacks
Students must bring their own water bottle and two small snacks.

dress code

Students shall have the right to dress in accordance with their gender identity, within the dress code requirements stated by CBA. Ballet attire can be worn, or students can dress in comfortable clothing that allows for free movement for the class.

Suggested ballet attire:
Option 1: Pastel Leotard, Pink or Skin Tone Tights, Canvas Ballet Shoes to match tone of chosen tights. Short pastel skirt optional. Hair should be neatly pulled back and away from face.
Option 2: Form fitting White T-Shirt, Black spandex bike shorts or form fitting black sweatpants, white socks and white canvas ballet shoes.

MYTHICAL CREATURES: DRAGONS AND UNICORNS

June 10-June 14, 2024

Get ready to embody dragons and unicorns in this dance camp designed to evoke imaginative adventure through movement and music! Students will learn ballet techniques along with how to move like a unicorn, leap like a dragon and create props that bring their mythical creatures to life like magic.

SUPERHEROES!

July 22-July 26, 2024

Up, up and away! Daring adventure and legendary movement come to life in the Superheroes! summer camp. Students harness their superpowers and create crafts that help them bounce and leap like their favorite superheroes. With an emphasis on tumbling, this camp will allow students to truly embody their favorite Superheroes!

DANCE AROUND THE WORLD WITH CBA AND ARTISTICO

July 29-August 2, 2024

Students will take a dance journey around the world in only 5 days! In partnership with neighboring dance company ArtistiCO, popular dance styles and genres from around the world will be introduced through games, crafts, and choreographed pieces. Join this summer camp to explore and appreciate a variety of cultures and traditions during this educational and fun camp. The week will conclude with a fabulous showcase to demonstrate all of the ballet fun and dances learnt from around the world!
