ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND SUMMER DANCE CAMP

JUNE 7 – 11, 2021
Monday – Friday

In-Person • 10:00am - 12:00pm
Virtual • 2:00pm - 4:00pm

 

VIRTUAL: $40, IN-PERSON: $45, BUNDLE: $60

(K – 2nd Grade) For our summer camp options, students will be immersed in our five day in-person and/or virtual camp which will include movement classes, plenty of social and emotional connection time, as well as group check-ins and warm-ups each day! Students may participate in either the in-person portion, the virtual portion, or BOTH! The in-person portion will feature creative movement and ballet classes while the virtual portion will include time for the creation of their own unique dances and the exploration of dance forms such as hip hop, folk dances, and more! Here is a sample schedule:

IN-PERSON

  • 9:45 - 10:00: Drop Off/Check-in
  • 10:00 - 10:10: Welcome
  • 10:10 - 10:30: Warmup/Get-To-Know-You Games
  • 10:30 - 11:00: Creative Movement Class
  • 11:00 - 11:30: Break/Snack/Craft
  • 11:30 - 11:55: Ballet Basics Class
  • 11:55 - 12:00: Camp Goodbye/Check-out

VIRTUAL (If students participate in the bundle option, they will then go home, have lunch, and prepare for the virtual portion of camp below)

  • 1:45 - 2:00: Log On/Check-in
  • 2:00 - 2:10: Welcome
  • 2:10 - 2:30: Warmup/Get-To-Know-You Games
  • 2:30 - 3:00: Create Your Own Dance Class
  • 3:00 - 3:30: Break/Snack/Craft
  • 3:30 - 3:55: Sampler Dance Class
  • 3:55 - 4:00: Camp Goodbye/Check-out

Note that the price of camp is only $40.00 - $60.00! We are thrilled to be able to continue offering five days of summer dance camp at this price. Without this scholarship option, the actual cost of the bundle option would be $300.00. In order to keep the Education & Community Engagement Summer Camp at an affordable price for all of our students, we count on donations from individual supporters of Colorado Ballet. If you are able, we ask that you consider making an additional donation toward this programming in your registration. Due to the financial impact of COVID-19, Colorado Ballet is doing our best to support our Teaching Artists and students on a limited budget. As a nonprofit organization that relies on the support of the community, Colorado Ballet deeply appreciates your generosity.

If you have more than one student at home who would like to participate in these summer camps, please register each student individually and ensure the demographic information is unique to each student registered.

PLEASE NOTE: The email address provided in this form is where your receipt and all summer camp communications will be sent.

Colorado Ballet retains the right to refuse service to any student whose behavior interrupts the goals, progress and general well-being of the camp. The registration form must be filled out, acknowledged, and consented to by the parent/guardian for the student to enter and continue with summer camp. By acknowledging and consenting to the terms within the registration form, the parent/guardian understands the rules and regulations of the program.
