Colorado Ballet makes 25,000 contacts in over 200 schools and organization each year, serving a variety of students, teachers, families, people with disabilities and lifelong learners. Support for these programs are vital to encourage children to tap into the power of movement.
Colorado Ballet has created unique workshops that integrate technique, world dance and STE(A)M. Sponsor one workshop or an entire series for under-resourced schools/organizations.
Young students fill the auditorium and watch dancers present classic children’s stories and engage in dialog about ballet. Sponsor one to four weeks of this traveling ensemble.
Adopt a school! This is an after-school residency program that provides 12-weeks of beginning ballet and creative movement classes for schools in the Denver Metro Area. This program provides access to quality dance education for students in Title I Schools. Sponsor one or two semesters of dance education.
Warren Village helps previously homeless single-parent families move from public assistance to personal and economic self-sufficiency. Sponsor a year of dance for Warren Village Preschool.
Students take a field trip to the theater to attend the ballet. Sponsor a student matinee and give 2,000 students access to the art of ballet.
The Academy serves over 2,000 students from toddlers to seniors each year and is the premier training institution in the state with programming sought after by serious ballet students worldwide.
