spring 2026 CHILDREN'S DIVISION
pre-ballet semester classes 

Colorado Ballet Academy students receive professional classical ballet training and mentorship from our faculty members that extends beyond the dance studio. The Academy shapes students into well-rounded, dynamic dancers by empowering our students to express themselves while cultivating their technique and musicality freely and creatively. Our faculty is passionate about sharing the beautiful experience of this art form with our students and creating a unique space that transforms students into ballet artists.

pre-ballet 1 - semester classes  

Ages 5–6
Spring Semester: January 26, 2026 – May 16, 2026       
No Classes: February 18-21, 2026, March 30-April 4, 2026 

In Pre-Ballet 1, students are introduced to foundational concepts such as turnout, coordination of the upper and lower body, spatial awareness, and class etiquette. Through imaginative activities, they continue to develop musicality, expand their ballet vocabulary, and grow as young artists. Each semester concludes with a joyful performance on stage in our own Black Box Theater.

One 45 Minute Class Per Week   
Registration Fee: $30  
Production Fee: $50 
Tuition per Session: $325

PRE-BALLET 2 - semester classes 

Ages 6–7 
Spring Semester: January 26, 2026 – May 16, 2026       
No Classes: February 18-21, 2026, March 30-April 4, 2026 

Pre-Ballet 2 follows a carefully designed curriculum that bridges the creative foundation of early childhood dance with the formal structure of classical ballet training. Students build on their understanding of ballet concepts, coordination, musicality, and expressive artistry in a supportive environment. With an emphasis on classical fundamentals, students also begin to develop classroom etiquette and self-discipline in preparation for Level 1, culminating each semester with a joyful performance in our own Black Box Theater.
