JUST ADDED: Due to Popular Demand, Colorado Ballet Presents an Additional Performance of Dracula at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on October 16, 2022
DENVER, CO (September 28, 2022) – Due to popular demand, Colorado Ballet will add another performance of season opener Dracula to its upcoming production run at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 7:30pm.
“Colorado Ballet is overjoyed to bring another performance of Dracula to Denver audiences in two weeks,” stated Artistic Director Gil Boggs. “The outpouring of enthusiasm and support we’ve seen from our patrons for the return of this production is simply outstanding, and most of the dates are close to being sold out. We want to ensure that everyone has a chance to experience this frighteningly fun ballet, which is why we’re thrilled to present this additional performance at the Ellie.”
Featuring mesmerizing choreography by Michael Pink and Philip Feeney’s original score performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra, Dracula brings Bram Stoker’s legendary gothic novel to life, complete with Victorian-style sets and costumes, seductive vampires, and a Corps de Ballet of the undead.
Colorado Ballet anticipates that all performances of Dracula will sell out completely. Interested patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets today for the best availability at COLORADOBALLET.ORG. Support for the 2022/2023 Season comes from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
